Memorial Day Poem
Everyday we have a chance, to work towards our own American dream
Some people get complacent and forget, freedom is not as free as it seems
Others have paid the cost for freedom, those who lost their lives fighting in the field
On Memorial Day we’re reminded, that sacrifice is real
Thanks to those veterans and soldiers courage by putting others first
This is a day for us to give them, the thanks that they deserve
