Romantic Gestures Spoken Word Poem

romantic

Sometime the heart sees what’s invisible to the eye

So it forces us to take a chance, and give this love a try

If you express how much you love each other, I’m sure you wont regret

Be spontaneous in bed, show passion in the sex

Advocate your love, by performing romantic gestures

Send A text throughout the day, to say i’m thinking of you lover

Pour you heart out to each other

You’ll be surprised what you discover

If you pay attention they say the devils in the detail

Never give up, because hard workers always prevail

Wake Up America Poem | Spoken Word

rsz_download

From terrorist attacks to false flags, it seems these days that’s all we have

We hardly investigate the information, before agreeing to attack without hesitation

Mean while our boarders are under invasion, to crash the dollar and collapse the nation

You cannot look to the government to create solution

Carbon taxes for small pollution, no sign of global warming

This poem is my attempt, to create a global warning

I hope that more people will begin to wake-up

and agitate the system, of an oligarchy make-up

Spread the word and share with friends, if we don’t do something soon this world will end

Spoken Word Poem | Rigged Game

image

In a society, effected by others decisions In this crazy world, this life we’re living
Where 80% of us sacrifice, but don’t quote me on that, until the math is right
In a world where success, is sink or swim
Where barriers are placed, between you and them
We climb the ladder and hope for the best
Then your placed into college, by the scores on your test
In a game that’s rigged for most to fail
So we attempt and we try, but to no avail

Spoken Word Poem | How To Go Viral

Browsing social media, and it seems like people do anything, for likes now days Hopefully if I act crazy enough, somebody will come by and like my page A couple million views, and I’ll be famous Wouldn’t you like for everyone to be screaming, whatever your name is Realistically, you have to create amazing content The more epic it is, you get better responses It spreads rapidly, if you share it on Instagram Facebook or Twitter You’ll get a better response if you included a picture

Spoken Word Poem | Hard Work

Wake up early every morning, before the sun illuminates the sky The early bird gets worm, so I guess I’ll try Success is,  hard work and dedication To my college students across the nation In the pursuit of happiness Fist day of school, and don’t know where class is Flash-forward 30 years, you have enough to retire So you try to give back, and hope to inspire There’s much you will see, on this journey you travel When life knocks you down, just get up from the gravel Keep pushing forward and never look back Thirty years from now, that’s where you’ll be at

Spoken Word Poem- Friday | Poetry Lobby

A prolific amount of people look forward to friday, the end of your week
For some people it’s payday, you and your friends get something to eat
You find your nearest fashion outlet
And grab the latest trendy outfit
Some go to a bar, some go to a club
Wherever you go, your blood alcohol level is up
You spend an entire week chasing for wealth
Friday, is the day you can treat yourself
Conceptualizing and conforming to your boss’s ideas
In this social atmosphere your as equal as he is
So enjoy yourself, know that your worth it
Tonight, you can make your life picture perfect
Instagram moments for Twitter and Facebook
Friday for some families, consist of a dinner they cook
A night parents and kids, forget about curfew
Watch movies, play games, have fun you deserve to

Spoken Word- America || America by Poetry Lobby

image

Wake up…

As I head downstairs for my morning brew
I grab the remote and click on the news
Taught  to obey a program to reality
Repetitious reports of entertainment in tragedy
So I turn on my laptop and load up the screen
Click on indeed, not a job to be seen
Meanwhile, they ship all of our work overseas
Our borders are flooded with gang and disease, immigration reform, spare me the grief
Executive orders from the commander and chief, to bus the illegals wherever they please
To truly reform, we need honest politicians
With common sense, and the American vision
We can save our country, from a total collision

Spoken Word Poetry || Love

image

If I searched the world a 1000 times, I wouldn’t receive a love as great as this
My diamond in the rough, the most precious gift
You deserve the best you’re beautiful
I just thought that you should know, lil wayne quote
Not trying to sound cliche, but words can describe this love we have
You’re the x to my y in algebra, I’m just showing this could relate to math
Because you and me we add up, and it equals an eternity
The other woman I dated, predominantly end up hurting me
If you love somebody you shouldn’t have to chase
Time is a commodity we don’t have to waste
Undisputedly you have my love
I want to raise a family, travel and do those types of things and such
I’m happy to have a life long companion
It didn’t happen by chance, because love isn’t random
