What A Folly Poem | Poetry Inspired

I could care less, what people call me

I don’t associate with people, who seem to folly

Where irresponsibility and imprudence get the best of them

Because my intellect, can be to complex for some

Maybe their lack of good sense, or foolishness

I don’t know what else to do, but this

Vote 2016 Election

As citizens, of what is considered the greatest nation

This is something we have to take in observation

We must continue to honor the constitution

So when you get out to vote, pick somone, who clearly has the better solution

It has never been more clear, the choice we make will affect us for years

To ensure that our country will still have a future

be sure to do your research while browsing your computers

All citizens in America have the right to vote

Please take it serious, it’s not a joke

Some have said, this a choice between the less of two evils

Clearly one is not, and one is for the people

Put things in contrast, when you go out to cast your ballot

Although some of us have, alot of us haven’t

Talk To Me

ttm_2015_med

It seems now, that love has become lust

If your looking for something  real, you’ll likely get crushed

No late night intellectual conversation

Thirst trapping woman on twitter nation

Just Instagram stars, people snap chatting things

We send text to say I love you, happy birthdays on computer screens

Talk to me, tell me how you feel, or if your feelings evolve

Growing distant over SMS, because we never talk

America: Greater Than Ever Before

rsz_sketchguru_20160802233544

Never in our country’s history, has there been a time more pivotal

When a decision between two people, can be so staggeringly critical

Only breaking away from the norm of politics, which simply isn’t working

With an over 19 Trillion dollar deficit, can’t we tell America is hurting

Donald Trump for president, a man who can build a thriving economy

Because Hillary is the option, that just won’t click on for me

A failure to execute the office that she held, putting the country at risk

By  jeopardizing classified emails, I mean how simple a task is this?

lets elect Donald Trump for president, and make America greater than ever before

Where talking about a man, who has built an empire from the ground floor

A man, who is willing to put his life on the line, like no billionaire has before

when you put these things in perspective, there’s no other option to explore

let’s get back to constitutional & American values, like saying In God We Trust

Donald Trump for president, any other option is a bust

Let’s rebuild our infrastructure with roads and schools, that lead to a better life

Let’s build a thriving economy, you know, these things American’s like

Embrace the public service men and woman, police and military too

Because after all, how safe would our streets be without all of you

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, seem like a distant memory of the past

Can we make our country great again, is a question I often ask

This is a monumental time in history, and it’s crucial we get it right

If it ends up any other way, there goes our quality of life

The clock is ticking today, to elect a man of faith

So on November 8th let’s go and make America great!

A Better Life

A Better Life

Choosing a better life

The decision we choose, is it wrong or right

When the end result for your child, is a better life

Nine months to choose, what you beleive is best

Hard to vent, and get this off my chest

A roller coaster of emotions, as the days roll by

There’s not a day when my child, isn’t at back of my mind

Because this is not one of those moment’s, we leave the past behind

My child is with a family, who can give her the life she deserves

Remember, children are the most precious commodity on earth

Choosing a better life

Is only a decision, in which you decide

Helping Hands

image

When I’m at my lowest, and need your helping hand

Will you be around, like when things where good and grand

Weather I’m rich or poor and need a friend

Someone that’s by my side, through thick and thin

If down on luck and need a loan

Can I come to you, or I’m just my own

Take care of those who come through our life

In your darkest times, you may need them to
Shine some light

Because together we have a glimpse of hope

Without a helping hand, life is just mirrors and smoke

Note To Myself

image

I sip, I stir, I think out loud, I’m down then up, like a floating cloud

Working hard to make my mother proud

Having always cared for others, like my wife, daughter, sisters, and brothers

Very passionately seeking, for love and success

Sometimes I complain, but forget about how much I’ve been blessed

So I’ll endure through the struggles, trials and the test

Giving myself  a fighting chance, I’ll be quick on my feet and ready to dance

Change

image

Never be afraid to inspire, expect change in life’s desires

When your told as a child, get a job that promises steady pay

To except the rat race, as your day to day

You have a hard time making monumental decisions

Brace yourself, it’s pivotal that you see the vision

What is change, not conforming but taking the detours in life

It all ends with change whether you take a left or a right…

Trust No One

Trust No One

image

Be careful with how easily, we choose to fall in love

There are vultures, who look to pray on you from up above

This is true, we must watch those closest to our hearts

Sometimes I think that cupid places poison on his darts

It’s a jungle in this world, like survival of the fittest

There’s frost bite on my heart, so I don’t believe in happy endings

I just wish that I had known ,this game of life in the beginning

I’d be one less happy soul, who could of probably end up winning

Puzzle Pieces

Broken Heart

In a world of neglected children with misguided dreams

Where to trust someone, is more complex than it seems

Though love can be good, it can make us blind

Just another lesson you’ll learn with the test of time

With each broken heart, you loose valuable puzzle pieces

Talking doesn’t help, when it leaves you speechless

Left dodging unexpected blows

I don’t know, how this true love thing really goes..
