Poetry Inspired Poem

Poetry is inspired, by all sorts of things in life

It can be a mini story, we sometimes write

Like loosing someone we love, who really cares

Sometimes, it’s creative ideas we want to share

Most importantly, poetry cannot be defined by a single word

It can be the most sad, or beautiful thing we ever heard

It’s contagious, and spreads rapidly like a raging fire

The only thing left to do, is be Poetry Inspired

Like That One Here’s Another: Love Is Selfish Poem

Love is Selfish | Poetry Inspired

Love is full of compromises, no winner’s in this game

Most have felt the consequence of love, called pain

Just a series of wins and losses

Forever giving up something, is what it cost us

If we call it like we see it, then love is Selfish

So why chase love, we just can’t help it

Poetry Slam- Identity Crisis by Poetry Lobby

Recurring cycles of chaos, eventually we lose ourselves in the madness
Preconceived perspectives, that’s all they teach us in classes
Left to be defined by statistics and probability
Like you’ll live a mediocre life, where success is not a possibility
No more honor left in business, just crony capitalism
Teachers ridicule the kids in class, who have an actual vision
Illusions that whe’re free, working for corporations
Modern day slavery, only difference is now we pick the plantation
Struggling to find ourselves, through what they programmed us to be
Focus on your goals and dreams, your vision is what’s key
Obviously there traditional thinking, has failed as you can see
Its time for modern America to fight for what we believe

Fathers Day by Poetry Lobby

Broken homes, abandoned kids
For some this is just the life they live
Misguided son and daughters
Immorally, walked out on by their fathers

Is it the death of verbal communication
Haven’t you heard, this our new form of conversation
I’d rather talk instead of text, this emoticon is how I’m feeling next
I’m concerned for this future where bound to get

It isn’t that people have forgotten fathers day
Rather society has groomed us all this way
Placing value on things of infinitesimal meaning
So children play play station, instead of house chores and cleaning

See it’s difficult for mother’s, when men don’t play their role
Your children run rampedly  out of control
This is a thank you to all of dads, who have consistently
Kept us on the right path
