Perfectly Imperfect:
In a world burdened by the weight, in the perfection on social media
People envious, chasing a facade they’ll never reach, but still keep it up
Taught to Idolize others relationships, looks, and lifestyles
Wake up, paint on a face, plump up your lips, and photoshop a smile
Everyone a regurgitation, of repetition in the latest trends
Of those insurmountable moments portrayed by their friends
Don’t continue living above our means for the benefit of others
Acknowledge who we are, we should not have to cover
Everyone is this world, is perfectly imperfect, It’s ironic but in that case, the word fits
