What A Folly Poem | Poetry Inspired

I could care less, what people call me

I don’t associate with people, who seem to folly

Where irresponsibility and imprudence get the best of them

Because my intellect, can be to complex for some

Maybe their lack of good sense, or foolishness

I don’t know what else to do, but this

When Life Becomes Social Media Poem | Poetry Inspired

Wakeup skip breakfast, for Instagram

No time, for out door fun, and shopping with the fam

Just hash tags, re-tweets, and facebook post

To everyone else, you’ve become a ghost

Some would compromise beliefs, for instant fame

When making friends, has become a game

Of pokes, likes, and angry faces

Where posting naked photo’s, is no longer tasteless

Now we leverage reality, for social media

A world of filters, is what life will be to us

We check our messages, for morning hugs

Then proceed, to swiping right for love

When we fail to live life, and we just exist

For building fame, and friendship list

How To Get Views

There will be ups, and there will be downs

But somewhere online, there are views to be found

As I am searching the web, for this information

Driven by passion and true motivation

I know this is a journey, I’m willing to take

Knowing some days it will drive me irate

Some say it’s about timing, but it’s probably luck

Whatever you do, I would never give up

Missed Connections Poem

Weather your walking down the street, and see someone highly attractive

Or it’s 5 P.M. In rush hour traffic

Missed connections, often happen in life

Just walking down the street, not speaking, could be the difference between staying single and meeting your wife

I’ve heard stories of people who met their better half in a super market

How epic, picture finding your spouse, in a super target

By not talking, to that girl in English class

Could subtract your significant other, but I was never good in math

These days, missed connections even happen on the internet

Go talk to that person, because at worst, there’s at least a friend to get
