Daily Prompt: Sunny Life Poem

via Daily Prompt: Sunny

rsz_sunny-meadow-landscape_1112-134

You don’t go blind, from looking on the bright side

As kids we like daylight, more than the night time

We had dreams of a bright and successful future

Not being stuck behind the screen of a computer

As always, there’s a promise of a sunlit tomorrow

Just visualizing the sunny life, can keep us from sorrow

Volume Of Love | Poetry Inspired

bradleys-book-outlet-books-only-logo

This isn’t the first volume, I’ve written on love

About how beautiful you are, or how soft your touch

The sound of your voice, as it echo’s my mind

How I  can get lost in your eyes, until the end of time

There’s no off switch on love, if it’s to much to handle

Here is my book of love, since doesn’t come with a manual

Beach Love Poem

HHV_images_tablet_1680x1080_Locations-Travel

There is an undeniable anxiety I get, for the summer waves

Spending time on the beach, unlike a typical day

Those three months of summer, come and go to fast

So this year I want to enjoy them, as much as I can

There’s more to my life, than just sitting static

This year I’m going to make sure, something special happens

Summer Inspiration Poem

Beach Dog

There are many reasons, to get summer inspired

So much to do, but we never get tired

Take a trip to the beach, and enjoy the sand

Do spontaneous things that weren’t even planned

Go skinny dipping, in the closest lake

What ever you do, make your summer great

Her love was gentle, she had the softest kiss

A name, which lingers still from my lips

You where caring and kind, always on my mind

You loved so tender, all the time

I need to know, how I lost your touch

I need to know, how I lost your  love

Portion Poem

via Daily Prompt: Portion

portion_poetryinspired

I grow impatient waiting, hoping for more

Not even realizing, opportunity has a revolving door

There are portions grouped together, to make up a whole

Each piece is critical, to reaching a goal

It’s important, that each component play it’s part

Sort of similar to the make-up, of the human heart

Calm Poem | Poetry Inspired

2016-12-22_16-25-56

Someone told me, to be calm

How can I, when I’m under pressure all day long

Can I afford, being able to relax

When constantly maneuvering, mistake of the past

A world of accolades, which leaves no room to fail

There is no calm, in trying to prevail

The Maddening Of America Poem | Poetry Inspired

9491933200_f4b9a53479_o

There has been much done, this past year, to provoke our emotion

Anger and division, have rolled into our country, like a roaring ocean

A culture of hate and descent, have plagued  our nation

Instead of the maddening, caused by separation

We need unity in America, and collaboration

Because anything other than that, will lead to exasperation

What A Folly Poem | Poetry Inspired

2016-12-15_09-32-25

I could care less, what people call me

I don’t associate with people, who seem to folly

Where irresponsibility and imprudence get the best of them

Because my intellect, can be to complex for some

Maybe their lack of good sense, or foolishness

I don’t know what else to do, but this

Construct is to build, perfectly engineered pieces of work

Like a bit of poetry, or music, that you may of heard

Maybe an architect building, from a master plan

When we manufacture things, with love and quality

Some would say, it could even be art, possibly
